Let’s discover together the quality of the Pomegranate puzzles , and carefully examine the materials, the cut of the tiles, the brightness of the colors and the precise interlocking.
Innovative puzzles
We were struck, from the beginning of our adventure, by the history and success achieved by Jackson Pollock , with his painting “ Convergence ”.
When we read the story told by Katie Lewin, founder of Springbok Editions, we were struck by a special event. The American company was the first to offer art-themed puzzles. And in the mid-1960s, it presented Jackson Pollock’s painting “Convergence” in a puzzle format.
The painting, consisting of irregular blobs and brushstrokes of color, was marketed as ” the most difficult puzzle in the world .” Despite the painting’s uniqueness and difficulty, the puzzle was a resounding success, selling over 100,000 copies in its first year.
But the most important fact, the one that guided our choice, is another.
In fact, the most extraordinary event was that an ever-increasing number of visitors went to the Albright-Knox Gallery in Buffalo to admire the original work, after having spent many hours putting together the puzzle.
And so Katie Lewin commented on this event, with a famous phrase, which we love: “You understand a Jackson Pollock better after you’ve completed the puzzle.”
So, we decided we absolutely had to be advocates for this beautiful approach to art, and we went in search of the famous puzzle “Convergence.” That’s how we discovered Pomegranate.
Pomegranate puzzle
Founded in 1968, Pomegranate is an award-winning independent publisher based in Portland, Oregon. They are the official retailer of Jackson Pollock’s work, as well as many other art puzzles , and we are proud of this new collaboration.
For the American brand, one of its core values is making art accessible to all. A truly commendable thing!
To achieve this goal, they collaborate with museums, artists, and writers to integrate their works into enlightening products for art and culture enthusiasts. Their theory is that art is an essential part of the human experience and that sharing knowledge is key to strengthening community.
That’s why in Pomegranate puzzles you’ll find images that enrich the human spirit with creativity and connection.
Quality of Pomegranate Puzzles
Our online puzzle sales site , Puzzle Arte , began its life by offering puzzle enthusiasts, but especially art puzzle enthusiasts, a high-quality Italian brand called Impronte Edizioni.
Now we also add high-quality art puzzles from Pomegranate.
From our first try, we noticed thick, sturdy pieces, a perfect cut, and a truly precise fit. In fact, we were able to verify the strength of the interlocking pieces even by lifting the puzzle by hand, without the need for glue.
Plus, the colors are vibrant, and the effect is slightly matte, making the image sharp even under glare from artificial light. This is very useful when you spend hours assembling a puzzle.
Our catalog of art puzzles
Our catalog is therefore enriched with new, fresh, cheerful and original art puzzles.
We offer the following Pomgranate puzzles: Water Lilies by Monet , Purple Robe and Anemones by Matisse , Convergence by Pollock and Francesca da Rimini by William Dyce .
A breath of fresh air for this spring!
We look forward to a long and genuine collaboration with this highly respected American partner .
We are already very pleased with the positive feedback from puzzle enthusiasts, who confirm the high quality of the puzzles and the reliability of the brand.
Passion for art
Our selection of art puzzles requires attention and care, not only for the value of the work, or the artist himself, but also in choosing something that still evokes emotion.
We don’t want to be just another salesman, where everything is just plain “soup.” We want to take art to where you want it to go!
We want to get straight to the heart of emotions, feelings and lightheartedness.
The important thing in life is to take small steps without running….it is important to walk neither in front nor behind people, but alongside them because together we can achieve exceptional goals .
