Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium
Located in the heart of Brussels, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium (Musées royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique) is one of the most important museum complexes in Europe. Founded in 1801 by the will of Napoleon Bonaparte, the museum has evolved to become today a major cultural hub that brings together six institutions, each dedicated to specific artistic periods or themes.
With a collection of over 20,000 works, the museum spans a time frame from the 15th century to the present day, offering visitors a journey through centuries of human creativity. Its halls host masterpieces of Flemish, Belgian, French, and Italian painting, as well as sections dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
