How to Identify Difficult Puzzles
By now, after nearly a hundred years since the invention of the first puzzle, who hasn’t assembled one? Well, surely some elderly people haven’t, but most of the population knows what it’s about.
The degree of difficulty is mainly determined by the number of pieces making up the image.
Indeed, the larger the puzzle, the higher the number of pieces, and the smaller the pieces, making it more complicated. Conversely, a small puzzle will have fewer but larger pieces.
That said, you also need to consider the image being assembled. It may seem obvious, but not all images have the same degree of difficulty, and often you face thousands of pieces of the same color without knowing how to proceed.
So when choosing a puzzle, you should carefully consider colors, shades, and the presence of easily identifiable subjects.
