Free Puzzle: Mirò’s Head
For these days of November we want to pay homage to our customers who choose to purchase at least 2 puzzles on our site by giving them the 1000-piece Joan Mirò Kopf Puzzle as a gift.
It is a beautiful work of art, expressing a state of mind, an emotional state, typical of the Spanish painter. Indeed, Joan Miró loved to paint and depict animals and eyes in many of his works, because they express what they truly feel.
The Kopf puzzle depicts a “head,” just like the title of the work. It could be a person or an animal, but what strikes the viewer is this large, sad eye looking down, disconsolate, disappointed, disgusted…
A work that everyone can interpret differently and freely. Perhaps this was also a great characteristic of the Spanish painter: imagination, fantasy, and creativity.
Many consider Mirò a children’s painter , because his paintings are so funny, charming, and colorful. They often feature animals, trees, strange little houses, and a “childlike” way of drawing that sometimes even an adult can’t understand.
Mirò’s surrealism
Surrealism is an avant-garde movement that transcends reality. Artists began to counter the rationalism and naturalism of bourgeois art with a new language capable of penetrating the unconscious, offering a more authentic and profound vision of the self . Thus, through surrealism , fantastic forms were developed in art, the fruit of inner visions and emotions.
This is what Joan Miró does in his works: he transforms reality into a fantastic world made of dreams.
Miró is probably the most surrealist of all the surrealists!
The painter draws inspiration from the countryside, nature, and music: in fact, many of his works feature horses, wild animals, aquatic animals, constellations, and musical notes all converging in a single representation.

This puzzle was a real find. It was difficult to make, but the result was wonderful. It really helped me distract myself from quarantine. Now it hangs as a picture in my living room and looks great.
Reliable and kind seller.
Advised!
It’s not what it represents that matters, but what each person finds in it, at least in my opinion. I don’t have this puzzle yet, but I think it would be so much fun to make, with this joyful red and the thousand meanings that can be found in the shapes and curves. An inexpressible joy! A game within a game: finding the right pieces, fitting them together, and also finding a meaning. I must say, I’d be very curious to see how the individual pieces of the puzzle are divided: a beautiful challenge, it could be difficult or easy to put together, I don’t know, I hope to find out soon!
This puzzle really struck me. I love abstracts, and Mirò in particular helps to inspire a wide-ranging imagination. The 1000-piece piece is my favorite.
This painting fascinated me, and I must say that putting together the puzzle wasn’t easy at all—quite the opposite! The monotony of the colors and the cut of the pieces made the puzzle take longer than expected… but it was definitely worth it. Excellent puzzle, good quality, and a beautiful, surreal design.
I’m having a bit of trouble expressing an opinion on this puzzle.
Let me start by saying that I love art puzzles and I love difficult puzzles , and this one was both enjoyable and frustrating.
Frustrating not so much for the difficulty, a quality that I look for and appreciate a lot in puzzles, but for the less than excellent quality of the joints.
Despite this, I was pleasantly surprised by the finished result, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hang it on a wall, if I still had a free one!
